Hi, Yes you may share my testimony.

Monday night, our pastor teaches an Evangelism class. My friend is in that class. She told me that another class member mentioned to our pastor that he wants to lay hands on the sick and watch them recover. Our pastor immediately shared his belief that signs and wonders passed away with the apostles. My friend spoke up that signs and wonders have not passed away. So pastor challenged her with proof. She couldn’t prove it on the spot. End of that discussion. (but wait – added)

The evangelism teams went out on visits and when we came back, her class member was standing at the back door of the church so I went up to him and asked, “If you knew you could be trained to lay hands on the sick and watch God heal them, would you want to?” He said, “YES!” “That’s why my wife married me…she said I was trainable.” Then I sowed the seed, “Every believer in Jesus Christ can be trained to lay hands on the sick and watch God heal them.” Then I said, “We will talk” and zipped my lips.

The young man on our Evangelism team that evening had expressed that “There has to be something more to Christianity and I understand the pastor’s view of signs and wonders being only for the apostles” That’s where I spoke up and said, “Im not on-board with the pastor’s opinion. What does the Great Commission say?”

He didn’t know.

So I said…”and these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up snakes and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Now, when did the Great Commission pass away?”

He said, “It didn’t.”

That’s when my friend and I said “EXACTLY” and started giving him tidbits of truth from the Word.

It’s like Brother Curry expressed yesterday about taking over a city….one person at a time.

And yes, you can post this testimony as well, if you believe it will help someone grow.

In Christ,

P.
