"I'm not sure when you posted your question...I think it was a while ago, but I will post this for future students who want to hear from those who have done the DBI courses on the internet.
In a nutshell, it changed me! It's one thing to spend a day or a week with someone...but it's way different when you are spending over 200 hours with someone, who is drilling into you WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST! With every reaction paper I wrote - I started out saying how I never thought the next class could get BETTER! But they seemed to have done that.
One course was on the pioneers of faith, that really got under my skin - and it's stayed there. It's one thing to look at the church today, but it's another thing to compare yourself to those who have gone on before us and paved the way and REALLY sacrificed everything for the Gospel.

John G. Lake Ministries is excited to offer a two year School of Ministry for those desiring to gain an in-depth understanding of the Bible and those desiring to enter full-time ministry. This school will clearly reveal God’s will for your life and how to accomplish it.
The School will have several aspects including: (click on the one you are interested in for more information)
Residential (On-site classes): Enrollment OPEN
Internet (On-line classes): Enrollment CLOSED - Classes FULL until March 2013
Correspondence (Audio/Video classes): Enrollment CLOSED You will be mailed Modules to study. Each module is a course and must be purchased individually. It will include DVD's of all classes within that course/module, study questions, study guide and textbook if applicable.

Admissions
To be accepted for online school with DBI, you must complete the application for admissions and submit your application before the desired year of attendance registration period has ended.

While the books mentioned in classes are supplemental reading and not mandatory - there are 4 books in Year 1 that we HIGHLY suggest reading. (Two Kinds of Righteousness, God at War, Azusa Street and Beyond, Why Suffering Cannot Be God's Will - all available in our online store.)

Because of the cutting edge nature of the John G. Lake Ministries - Dominion Bible Institute, there should be no expectation that "study units" will be recognized.
Certificates Offered
Though not accredited at this time, DBI will offer varying levels of diplomas. Approved students/graduates may apply for Licensing and/or Ordination through John G. Lake Ministries/IAC.
Residential (On-site Classes)
Classes Begin: Enrollment Closed
Where: Dallas, Texas
Time: 7:30 am (7:30 am mandatory prayer/worship, classes start at 8am)
Cost:
1. $25 application fee
2. Tuition: $1,000 if paid up front, $1,200 if paid out in payment plan. Payment plan consists of 4 payments of $300 on specific dates.
3. Cost of mandatory study guides - estimated total cost is $180 (study guides: $15 each - $15 @ 12 = $180 (due at the start of classes)
What you need to do:
1. Download/print the application. Fill it out and send it in according to instructions attached to application. Pay $25 application fee by one of the following methods:
* Send in a check for your app fee ($25) with your application made out to DBI/JGLM
* Use the donation button on our website and indicate that it is your application fee for DBI.
2. Wait to be contacted by DBI regarding your acceptance.
3. Contact dbi@jglm.org regarding making arrangements for payment of tuition and Study Guides.
4. Show up!
What to expect:
There will be NO CHILDCARE. You will need to arrange childcare while studying at DBI. You will study 5 days a week. Within that week you will have a schedule of 6 classes a day. It will look like this:
8:00am - 8:45am - Mandatory Prayer/Worship Time
9:00am - 9:45am - First Class (15 minute break)
10:00am - 10:45am - Second Class (15 minute break)
11:00am - 11:45am - Third Class (15 minute break)
11:45am - 2:00pm - Lunch Break
2:00pm - 2:45pm - Fourth Class (15 minute break)
3:00pm - 3:45pm - Fifth Class (15 minute break)
4:00pm - 4:45pm - Sixth Class (End day)
Weekly LifeTeam
Each student will also be expected to participate in the LifeTeam that will be formed from the students themselves. This LifeTeam will be student led with a appointed facilitator that is not a student. This interaction is to build unity and to ensure the sharpening of one another.

Field Training:
You will notice in the Course Schedule that on January 16th there is a graduation/sending. This is the end of the academic term of DBI and the beginning of the Field Training term. Field Training will take many different shapes...varying with each student. One thing is mandatory...a mission trip with Curry. At this time the mission trip will either be to South Africa or Trinidad. Students will be financially responsible for this mission trip. JGLM will assist in aquiring support through sponsorship initiated through our website.
We are considering having two different mission trips to pick from. One of which will be less time and lower cost and another that will be at least a month to two months long and have a higher cost. One of the two mission trips are mandatory unless otherwise arranged with DBI Staff.
The other main aspect of Field Training is that each student applies what they have learned through ministry according to how God leads them. This could be in the form of opening up a healing room, hospital ministry, missions work (foreign or domestic) or many other ways. The important factor is the application of what has been learned and staying in constant contact with DBI in order to receive credit for their Field Training term.
Once you have completed both terms with satisfactory work you will be eligible for the graduation ceremony that will be held at our National Conference in the 3rd week of June where you will receive your diploma. Once you have graduated from DBI you will be eligible to apply for licensing and/or ordination with JGLM.
Internet (Online Courses)

Where: Your HOUSE!
Time: ANYTIME!
Requirements: You must have access to reliable internet service or be willing and able to utilize free wifi hotspots in your area. All courses are ONLINE and all course work is submitted via email. You will need Word or another word processor that allows you to save in the .doc or .docx format and be capable of attaching documents to email.
Cost: TUITION HAS BEEN LOWERED! Please see new tuition fee below...
1. $25 application fee
2. Tuition: $1,175 (can be paid off in 6 installments of $196 over 6 months). This includes your study guides. Spouse's can also study for 1/2 off (please contact Shawna at dbiaccounts@jglm.org to arrange payment for couples tuition. Both are required to fill out an application and pay an application fee.
What you need to do:

2. Wait to be contacted by DBI regarding your application and instructions on how to get started.
3. Follow the instructions sent you by email to create your user name and password to access on line courses.
What to expect:
Once you have created your user name and password and have been given access to Course 1 you will be able to log into our DBI Online to access the course footage. You will only be able to access one course at a time. You will have 1 year to complete the material before your user name will deactivate. (This material normally takes 3 months to complete)
There are 10 Courses. Each Course is 10-20 sessions long - most are 16-20 sessions long. Each session is 45 minutes. If you watch 2 sessions each evening (under 2 hours) during the week (10 hours a week) - you could complete 1 course every 2 weeks. With this schedule, you should have completed the entire Year 1 material within 5 months. We give you 6 months to complete the material and required course work. Many students have commented that it is very easy to take a Saturday and watch 4-5 sessions because the videos are so captivating.
Each class will have a quiz that you must answer satisfactorily before moving forward to your next course. You are also required to write two essays for each course that vary with each course topic. Once you complete all 10 courses online with a satisfactory grade you will receive your certificate of completion and be eligible to apply for licensing/ordination with JGLM.
Correspondence Courses (Audio/Video Classes)

Time: ANYTIME!
Cost:
1. $25 application fee
2. Tuition: $130 per module ($15 extra for shipping to overseas students)
What you need to do:
1. Register by sending your mailing/contact information to dbi@jglm.org.
2. Download/print the application. Fill it out and send it in according to instructions attached to application. Pay $25 application fee and first module payment by one of the following methods - making sure to indicate if you are going to be a CD or DVD student:
* Send in a check with your application made out to DBI/JGLM
* Use the donation button on our website and indicate that it is your application fee for DBI.
What to expect:
Within 2-3 weeks you should receive your first module packet. Your module packet will include CD or DVDs of the course module that you are studying, study guide and textbook if applicable.
You have as long as you need to complete each module. At the end of your module you will then be required to send in your questions and essay. You can not choose modules - they must be completed in the correct order. You can not move forward until you complete the module you have purchased.
After completing 12 modules you will be given a certificate of completion.
